Having Some Fun With LEDs- Illuminated Cup Holder

I can't take the credit for this idea, my wife's Lexus has the feature from the factory but I wanted to make it brighter and better. We used a couple of ORACLE SMDs to fire light straight up into the bottles and give them a great glowing effect!

I thought that dang old fire water would get you a dui in most places :lol:

It looks pretty sweet though.

I would leave those bottles in their 24-7 :)

I know that the ford focus this is a standard feature in it. seen in it the rental i had in hawaii, pretty cool 6 colors to choice from at the flick of a switch.

Lol, someone suggested using green LEDs and making it look like radioactive waste.

Or fill them with coolant and put a ultraviolet LED in there. Although I would not want to ever have the liability of filling a water bottle with a poisonous substance...
