Why when it comes to the projectors....?

Why when it comes to the projectors....?

Postby vlad2007 on Wed Feb 03, 2010 4:19 am

Why can't someone take the charger headlight and just install the projectors ? Now i know you can get custome ones but i mean more like the asian import ones you know the 2 rings, and the LEDS lights. Now if a big name company can take the rings off and the LED lights and just leave it with the projectors at a great price.... :D I would be a owner of some projectors.

I know you can get the custome prjectors but i'm not sure if i wanna drop the $$$ for new custome ones or used ones for around the same price.

Whats your thoughts guys? agree..disagree ?

Factory 08+ Projector housings. Not cheap, but are the best looking IMO. I'd like a set for my charger.

What's the price on the factory ones? I wonder if you could part them out from a junk yard.

I did a quick search of some junkyards and saw them for $400 each for the left and right. I didn't realize they were that pricey. If you could find some in one of the pick-a-part lots (quite a few in california...not sure about Canada), they would only charge $30 for a headlight assembly.

Due to the nature of the company I work for I deal with Pick-A-Part and Ecology a lot and after talking with them, they basically sell them for the high price because they know people will pay it. Unless you've got some dummy working that day who marks them wrong, you'll be paying a pretty penny for them.

$400 a a piece and used :? thats way to much, i'll have to check some junkyards around in BC see if i can find anything most likely not.
